- My parents left Florida today and will by stopping by in the area on their way to Indiana. So my weekend will pretty much be consumed by bumming free meals off my sister (with whom they are staying).
- It's Friday, and Fridays always suck for getting work done. Worse, I'd be working on a Friday night, which is just shameful, and I wouldn't at all be surprised if I get "coerced" into going out someplace tonight instead of working.
- My nephew has a soccer game tomorrow morning at 11 AM. So I have to be conscious by then, since I don't want to miss it, and since there's food afterwards.
- I have an aunt who is notorious for giving incredibly awesome gifts. This year for my birthday she gave me a little DIY robotics kit, where you assemble a little robot mouse that can follow a path using optical sensors. Unfortunately the manufacturer's site is a total mess, so I have no links, but I'll be posting a documentary of my assembly efforts.
So... my high-minded, noble attempts at productivity just got their collective butt kicked, and hard.
But robotic thingies are fun, so I really don't care [grin]
