Seriously, if you want me to read something you've written, go on a doomed trek to the Antarctic and leave a journal of your experiences in the long, cold days before you starve to death, having eaten all of your perished comrades. Sprinkle in whatever you had to say in amongst the increasingly insane ramblings and snatches of profound introspection. It'll work every time.
(Oh, and you might want to consider less severe alternatives before you rush off to become polar bear bait... like, y'know asking nicely, exorbitant bribery... the usual stuff.)
So anyways, I thought I'd try my hand at the whole "log of a doomed man" thing. Except I'm not in Antarctica. I don't plan on freezing to death... or dying in any way, really - at least not tonight. But I am going to probe the boundaries of sleep deprivation and see what kind of hilarity ensues. I will be editing this post any time I feel the urge.
Judging from the kind of weird crap I said last time I tried this, we've got a pretty good chance of seeing some funny stuff in the next 24 hours.
0117 - Experiment begins. I'm working on some glitchy code that's supposed to be drawing little stardust lines on the screen (think Star Wars hyperspace effect), but is instead drawing random squiggly things and generally misbehaving.
