My loss is once again your gain

Well, another software company has pissed me off.

This time it's compuware, the folks who bought NuMega. After talking about the leak-checker in my last entry, I recalled that I had a frightfully old copy of Bounds Checker in my disk-box. Thinking someone might want it, I listed it on eBay for a penny. A day later, the auction was cancelled, with the claim that I'm violating someone's license. I was perfectly willing to do anything necessary to transfer the license, but they don't seem to care.

Anyway just to piss off those creeps, my loss is your gain. First person who agrees to send me $1 for postage gets it. Note that it's a really old version that profiles and leak-checks 16-bit apps. I have no idea if it'll even work under anything else. It's yours to find out, though, if you get me $1.

Have fun with it. Send a photo of you holding the "unauthorized" disk to compuware. Make it into a birdhouse. Leak-check a 1992 copy of MS Excel.

Enjoy!
