MBCG3AM update:

Envelopes out: 396
Envelopes in: 0

Index finger cramping up a bit. Otherwise okay. Unless we decide to go out tonight, my plan is to break 500 tonight. I'd be going faster, but Shelly took up crocheting.

For the uninitiated, here's last year's explanation.

I'm not eating the food, geniusboy. I'm just leveraging their system to make money. Read the post.

So they don't care about recieving envelope after envelope addressed to the same person?

Unfortunately for me I don't believe they do that over here in Australia, you can only get the peel-off tickets in store with purchases, and we don't have anything like the best buy thing.

I'll definately be taking a closer look at the conditions next time around though to see if it would be possible here.

Dunno about Australia, but here in the US, there's a law that states that you can't require a purchase to enter a contest. That's why all instant-win contests have some verbage in the rules stating that you can enter without buying by sending 'em a letter.

In most cases, it's not worth it. You'll end up spending 74 cents on postage just to get a bottle cap that says "Sorry You're Not A Winner". In this one, though, you're guaranteed to get at least a buck in BB credit, so it's worth doing.

It's even better in Vermont. Their state law says that you don't have to pay for return postage, so you only have to pay for one stamp rather than two. Apparently hardcore contest-enterers have mail drops in Vermont just so they can take advantage of this.
