Well I'm now officially over the "tipping point", as I've made more money ($886 BB credit + $90 cash) than I spent ($772.50). And less than half of the envelopes are in.
Biggest problem is that ebay is officially killing damn near anything with "Mcdonalds + Monopoly" in the title under the auspices that it is tantamount to selling lottery tickets.
Here's the official company line.
Hello,I was able to squeeze in two auctions with $45 buy-it-now prices, and they were completed and paid-for in about ten minutes --long before the ebay cops could kill the auctions, but that's a game I can't play anymore unless I wanna lose my account.
Thank you for taking the time to write to eBay. My name is Elros and I appreciate the chance to help you with your concerns today.
I have reviewed the auction in question and have determined it was ended correctly. The item you reported has also been ended by eBay.
You may not be aware of this, but eBay does not allow the sale of items such as reward codes and points that allow a bidder to pay for a chance to win a prize as this is essentially running an illegal lottery. Listings that promote giveaways, random drawings, raffles, or prizes are prohibited because these promotions are highly regulated and may be unlawful in many states.

I assure you that we try to be as consistent and fair as possible when enforcing our policies. Unfortunately, because there are so many auctions running on our site, it is very difficult for us to remove every offending auction prior to ending. You may feel free to help us out by sending in item numbers of offending auctions you see while browsing the site. We do rely on our members for help as well in keeping prohibited items off our site.
To report another item that you believe violates our policies, click "Sitemap" at the top of the eBay page and under "Help" click "Is my item allowed on eBay?". You can then select the policy that you believe the item violates, and at the bottom of the specific policy page you will find a link where you can report the auction.
We appreciate your patience and understanding regarding this matter, and wish you continued success on eBay.
Regards,
Elros

Hence I've got about 1300 peel-off tickets remaining here that are looking for homes. If you like peeling tickets and/or McDonald's food and/or free games for your cellphone, leave a comment and I'll make you a helluva deal.
Ironically, Shelly and I decided to eat free today, so we peeled 75 tickets so we could each get a burger and fries. Shelly looked up the Weight Watchers values and found that a grilled chicken sandwich without mayo is only 4 points. Adding the fries brings it up to about 10, but that's still not too bad.
Anyway, we both ordered free chicken sandwiches and fries and bought small sodas, making our lunch total about $2. Chicken sandwich boxes come with a BB chance and two game tickets. And we ended up getting two $3 and tickets for free breakfast.
So lunch today ended up costing us minus four dollars.
Oh, and be sure to order the grilled chicken sandwich rather than the fried. The grilled is nothing to write home about, but the fried one is a very crusty dry unappetizing thing.
