glDrawPixels is slow!

Can my graphic card (NVIDIA RIVA TNT/PCI) handle frame buffer operations? If it can why come glDrawPixels is so incredibly slow in my program? Edited by - Gandalf on 6/28/00 7:39:03 AM

Yes, glDrawPixels and other 2D functions are slow. This is a common problem on 3D cards (hence "3D", I think). Try using textured polygons instead.
