I''ve been working with the Crystal software synthesizer, but now i''m wondering if there''s an equal or better one available. Preferably freeware, though not necessarily. The Crystal interface is pretty annoying, imo, and i don''t like that you can''t import your own samples into it. Any help is appreciated
I seem to plug my own software a lot here but try noise station. As a synth you can use the unregistered version and you can use samples. Downside is it''s not very friendly and can be hard to get used to.

It doesn''t matter if it''s hard to learn, that''s just more fun imo

is not so bad.. ie. just finished a sampler w/ loop point modulation ''xt-37,'' which may interest you. if you have any tips for additional features (10 more lfos?) or want to build your own from the .se1 file, hit me up.
