I just wana ask if anybody knows any tool/software that converts Wav or Midi to S3M format. I''m using a sound library that uses s3M files as input and I don''t know how to convert my music to it.
Whatever
S3M is a tracker format, screamtracker I think. There's no way to convert a wav to it. Your only hope is to get a copy of screamtracker and write the music yourself in that. You might find a midi->mod converter (I had one on Amiga) and most trackers import mod format. You'll probably only get the notes though, not the instruments, but it's a start.

Oh, screamtracker quite old and freeware btw so you should have no trouble finding it.

ModPlug Tracker can import MIDI files with pretty good sucess. If you have a soundfont soundcard (sound blaster live, etc), it can also access the MIDI sound banks.

Thank you Andrew and Mark. I was really hopeless. Anyway I''ll search for the MODPlayer and try that. Midi to S3M shouldn''t be a problem. I will ask you again when I find the program. Thank you.
