Can anybody tell me how these lists work? I read the description in the "Red Book", but still don''t understand... Where do I have to write the gl commands to be installed in the list?

Hey ho! What about the display list tutorial written by NeHe (or others)? It''s a wonderfull text about it! You should read it!

Go back to nehe.gamedev.net and click onto Tutorials... scroll down until you see the tutorial description of "Display Lists"
