I am just wondering, is it ok to play music on a webpage that is from a cd? Like putting an ACDC (any band) song and playing on a website? I am not sure if that is legal or not and wanted to find out. Thanks
It is most likely NOT legal. But even if it is legal, webpages that play music are just plain annoying.

Ok, thanks for the info. Yes, you''re probably right about playing music, gets annoying after a while, and it makes the site slow...
I assure you it''s not legal - but please, for the love of god don''t put music on the page.
It''s only illegal to use somebody''s music and you are by some means making profit off of it. I imagine your site won''t bring you any profit so it wouldn''t matter. Then there is also the fact mentioned twice already, that music on web pages is annoying.
