Hi, I''m currently just starting to go through the tutorials on this website, my problem is that while lessons 1,2,3 and 4 compile and run fine under Visual C++ (version 6) when I try to execute lesson 5 I get the following error message: Linking... LIBCD.lib(crt0.obj) : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol _main Debug/Lesson5.exe : fatal error LNK1120: 1 unresolved externals Error executing link.exe. Lesson5.exe - 2 error(s), 0 warning(s) Can anyone help? thanks...(and hoping its not an incredibly obvious thing that is going to make me look very, very, very stupid) Ben...

When you make a new project you must select "win32 application"!

The error means that you''ve chosen a "win32 console application".

Hmmm...I thought I did (although having said that I probably didn''t), however I''m not at my computer at the moment so I''ll check that out when I go back in an hour or so, thanks.....
