I have an older computer with an older soundcard. My problem is that it''s set to record anything. Like if i record a chanel with drums and then want to record piano on another chanel it records the dums again. I don''t know if you can change this anywhere in windows. On newer soundcards like soundblaster live there is software to do this. I thought maybe there is some program for doing this for any soundcard. Thanks!

With my SB!Live the way to switch the input is to click on the little speaker icon thingy, then go to Options...Properties...adjust volume for recording, then click the "Select" box under which input you want.
