well I checked my display driver and it''s
a VIRGE/S3
with 2MB ,pretty lousy..hehehe
would that be a problem?
funny thing is that the executable that comes with nehe''s lesson 6 tutorial runs fine on my system it''s just when I re-compile it, it don''t work and comes up with that error--->suitable pixel format not found...weird.
That is indeed very wierd.. But sorry bud.. It''s time for a new video card.. No two ways about it.. 
And don''t say you can''t afford it, because a Voodoo (original) would be better than what you have and they probably put them in boxes of Crackerjacks now..
