I''m a member of an online group that is doing actual game development--both design and coding--and I''ve been told to tell everyone I can to see if they''re interested and if they are to join up. If anyone is interested, either post their email address or Yahoo! ID on this message or email me at draqza@rocketmail.com Right now we''re looking for anybody that can do anything--Programming, Ideas, Level/Character/Story Design, Art--everything related to game development. -- All hail the Technoweenie!

Could you give a little more information, like what kind of projects you''ll be doing? Any specifics for the direction you want to head in? (genre, theme, etc.)
Greenspun's Tenth Rule of Programming: "Any sufficiently complicated C or Fortran program contains an ad-hoc, informally-specified bug-ridden slow implementation of half of Common Lisp."
We''re doing any type of game. Basically, all we''ve been doing is kicking around ideas and waiting for the progammers to show up and tell us what they can do. At first, the group head thinks it would be easier to mod a game like Starcraft or Half-Life than it would be to start a whole new game, but I think it could go either way, depending on what ideas we get.
