Dynamic empires in an RPG

I''ve wanted to create a game like that for awhile too. Exile III comes pretty darn close though, probably closer than any "professional" (store) game I''ve ever seen.

I think a dynamic world like that is a great idea...

I put it in the doc, I definitely think that it would create confusion for all of those RPG fanatics if they kept their old thinking. They go off on a long haul, and come back and there is no trace of their home town... It could also provide a reason for them to go on their quest... good start to a story. They are off slaying more goblins and end up on a quest to find out what happened to their town... I like it
