I started openGL programming wiht NeHe's book about it.It worked quite well to make me an openGL fan but as the things are not well explained(most things are written as "this is the way it should be"),as I have no knowledge for windows programming(thus I couldn't understand quite a bit of the code)and as I am curious by birth i had to change to "OpenGL Super Bible".There although the learning is a slower proccess at least i managed to grasp a lot of things(btw still reading this book i am to "Complex shapes").Anyway I wrote this massage as I feel obliged to repay for the fact that you introduced OpenGL to me.i hope that you accept it as a constructive critics.
I wasn't aware that NeHe had written a book about OpenGL. Do you have a link?

Anyway, since you're interested in OpenGL, I'd recommend the OpenGL Programming Guide.
