Im no artist so I was wondering, how do you add an alpha channel to a tga and set it`s value with either Adode Photoshop 5.0 or Paint Shop Pro 5.0 ?

Well, I checked with Photoshop and TGA is either 16, 24 or 32 bits/pixels. So you''d have to save it with 32 bit/pixels instead of whatever you''ve got now. The way to do that, unfortunately, depends on your program

I think the way it usually works is you create a mask/selection that defines the shape of the alpha channel and save a 32 bit targa. It may depend on the program you use but I think the area inside the mask is the part of the image that will be visible.
