Try to make a program without windows that uses winsock. I mean without defining any windows or anything with just winsock2.h and whatever header you use for text and try to make/edit a program like that and see if it works in that dos-like window cause every program that uses that dos-like window on my computer doesn''t run for some reason or screws up.
