You must want to start a war here!

Anyways, everyone has their own preference on which graphics package is best. I would say that photoshop and psp are about even. The gimp program is also avaliable (and for free). Just about any graphics package is good, well except for microsoft paint.

If you use Gimp, use it in Linux. Don't use the Win32 port. Trust me on this one.

If anything is, Photoshop is industry standard. At least that's what they want on your resume.
