I did some research and found out that a journalism degree is not necessarily required, but it can help. So I'm going to take the college journalism rather than wait a year for the university journalism. And you need a diploma first in order to take a creative writing course, so I might as well get a diploma, then go for creative writing to broaden my horizons.
