Does anyone know any good freeware/shareware sound samplers - ie. you take a sound, and resample at different pitches to create a melody with it? Superpig - saving pigs from untimely fates

It would be hard to find a good program with focusing on one file type but there are alot of these programs for the mid/midi files and some for wav/mp3. Check our cnet.com or zdnet.com cnet.com would be my first choice because the site is more organized but zdnet would be good for the less know or out of date programs. Happy hunting!!

Hope I was of some help to you.

If you want to make music by sticking wave files together, probably the most efficient way to do it is with a MOD tracker. A nifty free MOD program is ModPlug Tracker.
One of the cooler professional programs, is Fruity Loops. Of course, it costs a pretty penny to purchase.

Hi,
My name is charlie, and I have tried MudTracker. Is a good program, however, is kind of complexed in using it, and creat or editing sound samples.

I have a waveble sythsizer, and the sound sample in the sythsizer is really good, and I wish to add more good sound effects.

If there is a program that can add sound samples to a waveblesythsizer that would be really great.

Please let me know by either email me- Charlie3000@mailcity.com

I just started playing around with Fruity Loops - that is a sweet program... well worth the money. There is a demo version; you can''t save stuff, but it sure is fun to mess with! http://www.fruityloops.com/
