Intel JPEG Library with AMD prosessor?

Yeah, It will be fine, the Cyrix MX/MXII and K5/K6/K7 are both fully Pentium x86 complient.

I've tested it on an AMD K6/2 and it was OK.
Intel JPEG Library looks good but does it work with Cyrix and AMD prosessors? Pages say it requires pentium, but AMD and Cyrix are fully compatible with pentiums, aren't they?

That must be tough for Intel: they can't really make something Intel chip proprietary. Sure MS, Voodoo, Sound Blaster, Aureal can have their own fancy chipsets, but Intel (besides its breif period introducing MMX) has stayed standard with everything else. And backwards compatible for that matter. Sure beats a lot of hardwars and software out there...
