G''day, everyone. I really need some help here. I''m trying to teach myself a bit of Lightwave 3D (6) and the friggin'' program keeps freezing or crashing on my computer whenever I try to do anything. I try to render using viper...it freezes. I try to apply a texture from the preset shelf...it crashes. I''m getting really frustrated! I want to learn this stuff so bad, but I can''t figure it out. I''ve updated all my drivers, and still nothing. My system consists of (don''t laugh) a celeron 633, 256 Ram, and a 32 mg nVidea geforce 256. Has Lightwave had problems in the past with the geforce 256? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for listening. Bolognaboy

Try to remove AGP from card utility and see what happens.
