Does anyone know how to use the ACM to decode a mpeg type wav file to a directsound buffer. I know in the directsound docs they mention that all you have to do is simply lock the buffer and use the ACM to convert the data to pcm format and send it to the buffer. However im having a real hard time fiquring out how to do that. Anyhelp would be a big plus(or should i just go with the directmedia sdk that allows you to play mp3s?)
