Help with Book Chapter 4
Great book lostlogic so far...
well in chapter 4 I was writting the ConnectionTest.cpp. Everything went fine with no errors and no warning. I put the program in my WINDOWS floder and opened of the command promt and I type in...
C:\WINDOWS:ConnectionTest.exe ConnectionTest server 6000.
The program runs and trys to connect to port 6000. but it fails.
Is it possiple that I do not have a port 6000, what am I doing wrong? I don''t want to move on until I have this figured out. Thanks in advance.
Nevermind my computer was on ppp protacal and read my ip address as 0.0.0.0. I switched it to the other option in the drop down box and got my IP address. Everythings working. Human Error as
always.
