On Drama In Games

I recently did a pretty in-depth post about dramatic writing for games. Tutorials and tools for art, music, software and more abound on the net, but there's comparatively little written about the craft of story telling and about what makes a story successful. I know many people are trying to create compelling stories, so I thought the article was relevant for the GD community. I've linked it because there's some formatting that I don't know how to reproduce on the forums: http://kotiro.petermichaud.com/writing/on-drama/ Hope it helps you! It was a nice read and I wholeheartedly agree that gameplay should tell as much as a story as the literal story itself. It's something I strive for when I make RPG games, since it's essential to create an engaging story for that genre.
