I''m coding this little software which downloads some files from the Internet. So I''m asking how should I get the file sizes? I know theres the Content-Lenght - line, but not all servers seem to send it. Should it be requested somehow? I''ve read it should be sended. Does anyone know about this?

It''s supposed to be in the http header on the download, there''s a couple lines of text (it''s in there) then the binary data starts.
