Hi Can anyone suggest where I can get a free modeller that can made simple shapes and save them as .md2 the quake 2 format???

well... those few bucks wont kill you.

and the trial version lasts 30 days so you´ll have time to get into it before you buy.

registry is about $20, and the download page is somewhere at www.chumbalum.org (com?) or something like that.. google should find milkshape without trouble though.
