Dose anyone know of any good tutorials for makeing levels in 3D Studio Max???

I don't know of any, but most games won't let you use 3ds max to create levels. Only models. Usually games have a proprietary level editor. Hopefully gmax will change this. You might want to broaden your search to general architectural tutorials since the basics will be the same.

Actually Discreet has some tutorials for their Quake3 editor using gmax. Maybe it will have what you need. I haven't checked them out myself.

Ok, it''s new and has an interesting marketing strategy, but the license fees are WAY TO HIGH for small game companies...
However, Genesis3D can import 3ds files, but I am not sure, maybe you will have to search for additional code to do this.
Also as far as I know jedi knight could import 3ds.
