Figured some people might be interested, I just finished a video and text based review of Fuse by Mixamo.

Fuse is a 3d character creator, along the same lines as Poser, Daz or Make Human, but incredibly easy to use and at the same time, heavily customizable. It works a lot like an in game character creator on steroids. Then when you are done you can export it to Mixamo for rigging and animating.

If your game needs animated characters, you really should check it out. If you've got minimal 3D skills, this is the perfect combo for you, although if you cant model "props" you are going to hit a wall pretty early.
