there use to be 3 or 4 featured developer journals, in the developer journal page. but for the past few weeks there hasn't been any. Has this been removed?

The possibility of getting the journal featured was a good motivator for (me) to write blogs and keep filling them with quality content. It can be frustrating when you spend a lot of time on a quality blog post but, just because of bad timing, it gets flooded with other blogs and nobody gets to read it :( . The featured journal section was a nice way to ensure such blogs didn't go amiss.

It looks like that hasn't been updated since October 2014.

nope, there use to be 2/3 sticky blog posts which would change every 2ish weeks

Yes, Drew normally handles those but must have been too busy recently.

I'll add it to my to-do list in the meantime -- there should be at least 1 picked later today. :)
