(Untitled) - (7 playable Demos) - (Help Demo 7)

This is my first time doing a game journal but hopefully not my last! Ive read multiple times from developers that keeping a journal helps to keep them on track and meet deadlines that otherwise would be hard to stick to. Since I am having that problem myself, I figure ill give it a try!

**New**Looking for anybody that would like to try and draw some art for this game. Trying to keep it simple, but as you can tell by my glide drawing, I am not a very good artist!**New**

Concept:
The idea behind the game is simple. There are 9 levels. Get to the end of each level without falling in the pits, or landing on the bad obstacles. (Spikes, walls, etc). As the main character, you will progress through the levels, and along the way you will acquire advice/abilities from a few helpful friends. Though there will be a set way to beat each level, there will be hidden passages and routes that are not very apparent unless your looking! By the 9th and final level, you will have learned all the abilities to catch up to and put a stop the the main nemesis.... If you can.

Art was inspired by iOS game "Mr. Jump"and is only Temporary for this demo!
Levels:
Learning - Tap to jump short, Press to jump Farther, Hold to jump Farthest.

Level One- You will start out simple, allowing you to tap to jump short, press to jump medium, and hold to jump the farthest.
Also will introduce spike obstacles
(And also you will get to meet your first friend, and enemy!)
Learning - Wall Sliding test.

Level Two- It will begin to get harder. This level you will meet your second friend. S/he will teach you how to wall slide. Using both the jumps from the first level plus the newly acquired ability to wall slide, the 2nd level begins to show the possibilities of the game.

Level Three- This level will get the player feeling like a ninja! On this level, you will acquire your third ability. The ability to wall jump! This combined with the first two abilities gives the player a feeling of unlimited possibilities. You can make it up cliff faces, down treacherous inverted stairs, and more!
Learning - Double Jump Test

Level Four- This is where the levels begin to start being more spaced. On this level, you will meet your fourth friend who will teach you how to double jump. With this, jumps that were once to far are now within reach. You will be jumping farther than ever, catching ledges and really jumping like a ninja!
Learning - Double Jump Off Walls Test

Level Five- This level you will gain the ability to perform a double jump after a wall slide and a wall jump. This allows for higher and farther climbs and descents. You will be timing jumps as death dangles below your feet below, to the sides, and all around you!
Learning - Triple Jump test

**New**Level Six- This level, you gain the ability to triple jump. This allows for you to clear major distances, avoid tough obstacles, and save yourself when you miss-jump!
**New**HELP Ive got some feedback from mobile testers about the glide ability being un-liked when the player turns sideways (Demo 7 v1), So I decided to go with a suggestion left on this forum to have a cape instead. (Demo 7 v2). My question is what fits better? I need help deciding this before I can make any levels beyond 7.
**Please do not worry about the different graphics, I want opinions on the glide animation/action/feeling into the game / graphics. Thank you in advance for your comments, and opinions, I will respond as soon as I get a chance! **

Level Seven- This level, you will gain the ability to glide. Though you will need to pick up the right equipment first! This will be a glider stationed on ledges of the map. Once you collect them, your next "Double Jump" will instead be a glider equip which will allow you to glide for 4 seconds. During this time, you can use ur remaining jumps to glide upward a little to avoid obstacles and cover more distance!
Level Eight- TODO - Think of Friend, and ability. (Possibly Duck ability)
Level Nine- TODO - Think of Friend, and ability. (No Idea Yet) (Suggested Teleport Possibly)

Art:
For the art, I will be drawing everything myself unless somebody else takes an interest and would like to do graphics. For me, art is not the easiest thing to do, so I will be trying to keep everything as simple as possible. As for the tiles, I suggest everybody checks out "Kenney" in the StencylForge. I began liking his style, and have since donated to a few of his projects and asset packs. Just recently he put out a software that is currently in "Pre-Alpha" that helps make tiles. Its called "Kenney Studio". This is what I will be using to make all tile assets for this game.
