Underrated game genres that are really good.

It should be underrated and good not repetitive and boring so tell me they have to be 2d and they should have dialogues during the fights like Undertale.

Sandbox games. I am listing this mostly for my love of Kerbal Space Program
My current game project Platform RPG

Side-scrolling, Hack-N-Slash RPGs (2D) such as Dragon's Crown and Odin's Sphere. Even with the limited space, the settings are drawn incredibly well and (with the power of layering backgrounds) they can offer a lot in the way of spatial awareness and depth.

How can a genre be boring or repetitive? What do you mean by good?

Every genre other than: FPS, RPG, Platformer and Endless runner is underrated, imho.
