better web design
I know HTML and some basic java-script but I still have trouble making fancy websites like http://www.gamespy.com. I wanted to know if anyone had any tools or something to make web design easier.
dude...wrong forum man...
But to answer your question...If you want to learn how to make professional sites like gamespy then look at their code and similar sites'' code as well. Learn from what they''ve done...though don''t copy direct code. There is no easy-website-maker that makes highly professional websites. Besides the fact that gamespy(without actually going to the site) probably uses a database backend and some kind of .asp, .php, front end.
Hope this helps

Macromedia products are good.
For html use DreamWeaver 3 (not UltraDev)
For images use FireWorks 4
For Flash Movies Use Flash
for Shockwave stuff use Director.
Now for scripting such as asp, do not use UltraDev as this IMHO is not very good. Use Micro$ofts InterDev 6.0
