How can I Change Default Connection-lost time on DP8?

first of all, I apologize my awful english speaking.
I have some problem with change the default DP8 time-out value.
When some player crashes, all other players must wait 60 seconds.
It''s too long for me.
I want change the connection-lost time to 10 seconds.
but I couldn''t find any solution for this problem.
please help me.
You really shouldn''t change that timeout value. Despite possible prejudices against Microsoft, the DirectPlay programmers surely know what they''re doing. They probably chose the timeout value that worked best, and messing with it is likely to cause problems.
Apart from that:
a) your program shouldn''t crash in the first place
b) why would the other players have to wait? This sounds like you''ve got some problems in the code (i.e. blocking calls or something like that).
