Adding commands to executable shortcut target, what is this called?

Like in COD 4 where you could set targets so the executable ran in Windowed mode or set as dedicated server with IPs, Ports etc

What is this called?

“ command line arguments” I think?

Don't know what you mean by “target” in COD4, but command-line stuff is quite nicely described here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Command-line_interface

Yes it is command line stuff.

Found the code in our app but it is mumble jumble like the rest of it xD
