Hello, thank you for viewing!

About Me

I have been a professional programmer (non-gaming) for 12 years and I have spent about 6 years programming games as a hobby. I have always loved making games but I always come to the same problem; lack of artistic ability. Some of you may remember me from the Week of Awesome game jams, I participated in 2 of them, the last producing Army of the Undead (https://gamejolt.com/games/army-of-the-undead/86705 ) which really became a button masher due to the time constraints, and Rob the Dumbass Robber (http://brandonmcculligh.ca/ProjectDetailPage.aspx?195128207190157049108098073143025188077197013023=033252060157168014225214168021153001102191026149) a simple 2D game where your goal is the steal the jewels.

Recently

I have recently been learning Unity and working on a small game as part of that and as this game is nearing completion I find myself in need of help with the modeling. Thus far, I have been using free to download models but they are not rigged or animated. I cannot believe how easy it is to make something in Unity, I always used my homegrown “engine” until XNA was deprecated and I now understand the hype.

About The Project

As I mentioned the game is a small game to learn the features of Unity, the current working title is Woof Woof where you play a dog that chases cows. The game is intentionally hard and fast paced.

The game is basically complete it just needs an art swap out and more levels to be built, but if you have other ideas we can always add them in as well. The goal of the project was strictly to learn Unity but if people keep saying the game is fun, Steam could be in its future.

Ask

I am looking for a 3D artist to work with on this small game to get us familiar as a team before taking on a bigger project which would be determined as a team together. Currently there are 2 models that need animating (or recreated and animating), a cow and a dog. The art style is somewhat cartooney at the moment but this doesn't have to stay that way.

Closing

I hope to hear from you and we build a successful team. My online portfolio is out of date but you can play some of my previous games at BrandonMcCulligh.ca.
