Hi gamedevs!

I have searched and searched for a website/blog that interactively demonstrated how a computer performs 3D rendering in a step-by-step fashion. You could step through an animated scene similar to glxgears, from vertices to final render at various speeds, as if you were looking under the hood of the graphics pipeline in real-time. Not sure how old the site is, but probably from the 2000s or early 2010s. Google yields nothing, nor does my entire bookmark history spanning eight years. The site was fairly known in its time, I have seen links to it in other discussions. Even if the site is taken down, I am sure it lives on archive.org. Any help is greatly appreciated!
