Hello,

I am Vallarin, member of Simulacrum Studios, a start-up game developer. I and a couple other members are working on a more traditional RPG, comprised of elements of both Western and Eastern RPG systems. Examples such as a D&D like Stats Systems with the Jobs and Combat of games such as Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts respectively. Currently, I act as the main programmer on the base concept prototype. I have a modeler work on basic actor models, such as weapons and props. As well as more complex models, such as buildings and character models. Unfortunately, due to team size limitations, we have not been able to reach the stage in development where showcasing a finished product is viable, however, I can showcase pieces of what we have been able to create so far.

Game Design Document (Do note, this GDD I consider to be outdated, I intend to revise it sometime soon, but it should still prove at least a basic understanding of our vision):

At the moment, we are looking for an additional programmer who can help in the process of iteration and improvement of the current code-base, as well as implementation of new, most likely more complex, features. Despite the code-base being currently being satisfactory, considering it is a prototype, I am not in position to call the features currently implemented “finished”. As it exists at the moment, I consider this more of a hobby project, first and foremost, the core functionality of the game must be present before we can go about treating this as a fully fledged product that a consumer can play.

Feel free to leave any feedback or ask any questions and I’ll try to answer them as best as I can.
