MIDI Change

I wanna put some nice music (->MIDIs) into my project, but the files i took are nice, too, but i wanna change the instruments. The thing is, that i want an external program which i can use for exchanging the instruments. If you''ve got some ideas for a program like this, for the best as free, you got my thx. cu, HeelX from GER

Well, if you find a midi-to-wav converter on Google or something, you can use ACID to combine or separate tracks, I believe.

Cakewalk gets the job done for me, although it''s not a free program. If you want a free one, or at least a demo with that kind of capability, search through cnet''s download.com, there should be something there.
If you want to be fancy and change instruments inside a game, I''ve written an article for Pixelate magazine which will be out in a week or two. It covers changing tempo, vol/pan, instruments etc, muting tracks, transposing...
