Hi can anyone tell me where to find opengl sdk 1.2? opengl.org only has 1.1 to download. unless i cant find it on there site. My new book should be coming soon and i want to have everything set up. my books--> OpenGL 1.2 Programming Guide: The Official Guide to Learning OpenGL, Version 1.2. As you can see it uses 1.2. It''s not available yet. From what I understand, SGI will no longer be maintaining their implementation of OpenGL for Windows, so we''re left depending on Microsoft. I''ve heard that the 1.2 implementation is supposed to be available later this year. You should be okay using 1.1 for now, but if you really have to have 1.2 for some reason, you might want to check out Mesa 3D, which implements 1.2 (I haven''t used it myself, but I''ve heard it''s pretty good).
