Is there any FREE compiler out there that will compiler DirectX Windows programs? The problem is that I want to be able to compile a game that I''m making at my school, but they won''t let me install Visual C++ on their computers. Is there any alternative? Thanks!

LCC (C only), Mingw32, Cygwin (GCC port) and some more probably. Do a websearch. Can remember the addresses right on top of my head. Good luck.
