I mentioned this is a post elsewhere on the board, but I suppose this is the more appropriate place to do so. I've noticed a lot of people posting but forgetting to enter their user name and password. I've done so myself several times. I would like to see a java-script routine that simply checks to see if the username and password fields are blank and if so, send the user a message giving them a chance to cancel and enter their user name and password. My username and password are always already entered for me. Good thing too because I don''t think I remember my password!

I often browse the gamedev.net site at school where cookies only last until you log off and I don''t really remember to log in on the main page.

The java-script to do what I would like would not be difficult to write, and I''m sure it would save a lot of people from forgetting their username and password.

Anyway, it''s only a suggestion
