It actually uses disks since all the shapes are disks as well. However, I think I might have the radius of the rocks a little big in the code. Sometimes they are a few pixels away when they hit you. I decided not to reduce the radius of the rocks because I really liked how they collided so instead I made Herman's radius a little bit smaller than he actually is.
In the code you can change RockRadius to 19 or 18 instead of 20 to see if that helps.
