Can public domain assets be used inany game regardless of the licensing/copyright the game is under?

I have a game I am working on that is licensed under CC-BY-SA 3.0 (it's an SCP game). However, I have discovered that many of the assets (models of generic objects) I create also work with other projects of mine that will be copyrighted by me/the company I plan on starting. Will I still be legally allowed to use these assets in any game I make regardless or not it's under CC-BY-SA-3.0 as long as the assets themselves are under a CC0 (Public Domain) license?

Are you afraid that you might sue yourself?

@fleabay No silly! I am afraid I will look like I have double standards. And who knows what the SCP Wiki's Licensing Team would do!
